Esx. Settings. Hosts. Software. Alternative Images. Display Name Get
Returns the display name of the alternative image.
Warning: this operation is part of a new feature in development. It may be changed at any time and may not have all supported functionality implemented.
Returns an authorization error if you do not have all of the privileges described as follows:
- Operation execution requires VcIntegrity.lifecycleSoftwareSpecification.Read.
- The resource HostSystem referenced by the parameter host requires VcIntegrity.lifecycleSoftwareSpecification.Read.
Identifier of the host.
The parameter must be an identifier for the resource type: HostSystem.
Identifier of the alternative image.
The parameter must be an identifier for the resource type: com.vmware.esx.settings.image.
Display name of the alternative image.

If the host is not a vLCM managed standalone host.

If the caller is not authenticated.

If there is no host associated with host or no image associated with image in the system.
